Annual
Chapel Bloodmobile
“Give the Gift of Life & Support Missions”
Monday, May 19, 2008 - 2:00 - 7:30 p.m. in
the Family Life Center
The Chapel in North Canton is a member of
the Aultman Blood Center. Our
participation in quarterly bloodmobiles
guarantees free blood replacement for
EVERY MEMBER of our congregation and their
immediate family, parents, and
parents-in-law. If you are between 17 and
75 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds,
and are healthy, you are eligible to
donate.
Because this Bloodmobile is being held at
The Chapel, we need volunteers!
Here’s how you can
help:
Donate blood! Complete the postcard
enclosed in today’s bulletin and place it
in an offering box, or turn it in to the
Welcome Center or church office. You may
also mail it back to us (don’t forget the
26-cent postage).
Bake 2 to 3 dozen
cookies and deliver them to the church
before the blood drive starts.
Serve refreshments. You
can schedule any time during the blood
drive.
Take vital signs, if
you’re a licensed RN, LPN or EMT worker.
Aultman’s Incentive Program will Benefit
our Youth Missions Trips!
GOOD NEWS! If we are able to reach a goal
of 80 blood donations, we qualify under
Aultman’s “Communities that Care” program
to receive $1,500 to apply to our youth
missions trips to West Virginia and the
Dominican Republic this summer! That’s
free money with no strings attached!
Please take the time to give. We need you!

debit of your tithe to the church, and you
get to determine the amount and frequency
of the debit (weekly, semi-monthly or
monthly) according to your preferences. If
you are interested or have any questions,

Pregnancy
Support Center Volunteer Training
June 17-19 & June 22-26
As the ministry of the Pregnancy Support
Center expands, they are continually in
need of volunteers to fill vital roles as
peer counselors and receptionists, as well
as positions within their medical clinic
and new men’s ministry. If you are
interested in more information, brochures
are available at the Welcome Center or you
may call the PSC at (330) 455-7500. Cost
is $25 for training manuals and supplies,
and registration ends Monday, June 9.
(Please note that there are a variety of
other volunteer opportunities available
that do not require attendance at these
training sessions and do not involve any
cost. These positions are also listed on
the brochure.).
Chapel
Library
Our Chapel Library has
an impressive selection of books,
videos, DVDs and music CDs for all ages,
by popular authors and artists. The
Library is open on Sunday mornings and
staffed with volunteers to help you.
It’s located in the Main Lobby between
ABF Classrooms 2 & 3. A handy book
return box is placed just outside the
Library door so you can return your
books or tapes at any time. Come check
it out! (Please check and see if you
have any overdue Library items on your
bookshelves at home that can be
returned, or stop by the Library if you
require an extension of time. Thank
you!).

So, in order to better minister to your needs during this time, please call the church office at (330) 494-3419 so we may pray with you and coordinate the details regarding your hospital admission and discharge. If it is an emergency, please have a friend or family member contact us. We really care and want to help.
