Attention
Chapel Members - Board Nominations Due
September 21
At this time each year we begin the
process of selecting eligible Chapel
members to serve on the boards of
Trustees, Deacons and Missions, and also
fill positions vacated on the Election
Committee. If you’re a member of The
Chapel in North Canton, you may
participate in this process and nominate
those you believe would best serve the
Lord and His church in each area of
responsibility. Packets of information
with nomination forms are available at
the Welcome Center. If you have any
questions about this process, please
contact the church office or one of the
members on the Elections Committee: Walt
Gawron, Sue Gawron or Karen Phelps.
Nomination forms may be turned in to the
Chapel office or dropped in an offering
box no later than Sunday, September 21,
2008.
Join
the Adult Worship Choir Through
September
Our Worship Choir and Worship Team began
rehearsals on August 27, however, you
are still invited to join through the
month of September. No vocal auditions
are required for participation in the
choir. We are also excited to announce
our first-ever Worship Ministry Kick Off
Event on Saturday, Sept. 27, entitled
“The Heart of a Worshipper.” Anyone
involved in any aspect of the Worship
Ministry or would potentially like to be
involved, is invited to attend; however,
you must make a reservation with either
Diane Fedorka or Linda Roberts in the
Worship Ministry office by calling (330)
494-3419, ext. 309. If you have
instrumental talents and are interested
in joining our orchestra or rhythm
section, please contact Diane or Linda
at the number above. You must have high
school-level playing ability or better
to qualify.
Emergency
Response Team
Needed: To be a volunteer on this team,
you will need to be on call on a
rotational basis with other team members
and trained in emergency first aid, CPR
and/or AED (Automated External
Defibrillator). If you are looking for a
way to serve the Lord and utilize your
emergency medical training, please
contact Pastor Dan at (330) 494-3419,
ext. 307. We need your help!!
Electronic
Tithing Option
Inquiries have been made about whether or
not offerings can be automatically debited
from individual checking or savings
accounts, and the answer is “Yes!”
Authorization forms are available in the
church office to set up the automatic
debit of your tithe to the church, and you
get to determine the amount and frequency
of the debit (weekly, semi-monthly or
monthly) according to your preferences. If
you are interested or have any questions,
please contact the church office at (330)
494-3419.

Due to stricter privacy policies, hospitals and medical facilities are no longer contacting The Chapel to notify us when a Chapel member or attender has been admitted. So, in order to better minister to your needs during this time, please call the church office at (330) 494-3419 so we may pray with you and coordinate the details regarding your hospital admission and discharge. If it is an emergency, please have a friend or family member contact us. We really care and want to help.
