Proclaim Your Praise

by Pastor Bennett

We rejoice in a great year at The Chapel.
We rejoice in Sunday attendance equal to or greater than a year ago.
We rejoice that our offerings are greater than our expenses.
We rejoice in the positive, Spirit-filled attitude that exists at The Chapel.
We rejoice in lives that were changed this year.
We rejoice in those who made decisions to trust in Christ as Savior.
We rejoice in a gracious, faithful God who has accomplished all of this.
We rejoice in a great year at The Chapel.

Proclaim Your Praise

Betty Kleyn:

“Oh, The Glory of Your Presence” and it surely is in The Chapel in North Canton. The sweet fellowship of our people is so special in my life. I can’t imagine life without the great messages from Pastor Larry as he is inspired by the Holy Spirit, our ABF, and what a blessing to be able to be a part of our choir, as Brian molds each song to praise God.

May I encourage anyone who just attends a service on Sunday morning to ask the Lord to show you your spot in the Chapel to be blessed and in turn to bless others. You are unique and God can use you if you’ll let Him. Thank you Lord!

Tom & Bonnie Reed:

We want to offer all our love, praise, and adoration to a faithful God who carried us through a difficult time this year. He provided all that we needed when Tom was laid off four and a half months this year. Without His grace and the help of Tom’s family and our church family, we would not have made it.

We would like to praise God for a beautiful and healthy family, and a wonderful marriage. We thank the Lord for wonderful Bible-believing Pastors and their instruction. We also praise the Lord for the best music program and youth program any church could ask for.

Tim & Tammy Abel:

This has been a big year for our family. Minutes after our baby boy was born the doctor told us that his umbilical cord was tied in a knot, which in some situations proves fatal. Praise God, he has had no residual effects.

We bought our first house and “family car” this year. We were amazed at how God orders our steps and works in the details of our lives.

We have seen the work of Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, as Tammy started a part-time job, only months before the slow down in the economy caused Tim’s work hours to be cut. He knows our needs even before we do!

We have been blessed to find our place to serve in the church this year. Tammy can’t say enough about what a great time she has with her choir family every week. Tim has enjoyed getting to know the new families in his deacon care group these past few months.

We have seen many of our friends and family members who’ve endured serious surgeries, illnesses, injuries, etc. this year, but we’ve also seen many who’ve had incredible blessings of babies born and prayers answered. What a wonderful lesson in trusting our God, the Great Physician, Counselor, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace.

Don Bartlette:

I praise God for the wonderful church at the Chapel, the Christ-centered preaching, the warm fellowship, our ABF, and especially for the impact upon Seth and Vanessa as they have become involved with music ministry at the Chapel, at college, and with “The Young Continentals”.

Lu Baker Deitz:

As we leave the old year and enter into the new year, my heart is filled with joy and praise that I have been permitted to live and enjoy God’s goodness to me.

Psalm 66:2 tells us to make His praise glorious; Isaiah 43:21 says His people, that He has formed, shall show forth His praise. Psalm 86:12-13 declares, “I will praise Thee, O Lord my God with all my heart, for great is thy mercy toward me.” Psalm 69:30 states, “I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with Thanksgiving.” Psalm 107, verses 8, 15, 21 and 31 says, “Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men.”

There’s a place to start, but no place to end in praising the Lord!
