Eternal Riches

We spend so much of our time gathering material possessions. "Shop Till You Drop" is a motto of the 90's. We want better cars, bigger houses and all the things to fill them. But in only a brief moment fire, floods, winds and earthquakes can reduce these things to rubble and dust. No matter how much you have, money has it limits.

What really matters in life is not the size of your bank account but obedience to God. He asks you to turn from your sin. Believe in and receive Jesus Christ. Romans 6:23 promises, "The free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Don't let the love of money stand between you and God any longer. Ask God, "Give me the eagerness for Your degrees; do not inflict me with love for money! Turn my eyes from worthless things, and give me life through your word" (Psalm 119:36-37).

Invest in God's promises and not your possessions and you will have eternal riches.

In Christ,

Lee Hawkins
