From the May, 1999 edition of The Doulos monthly newsletter by Lee Hawkins Did you ever think that God does not have a plan for your life? So many times we worry and fret over trivial things and even as Christians we become discouraged. We need not look very far to see people that are hurting and struggling. We have a wonderful opportunity as Christians to be able to be an encourager, a friend, a good listener and to just give of our time, when today that is so desperately needed. We need to learn about God's love for mankind. God shapes us into the person He intends us to be, if we will allow Him. We need to uncover the areas in our lives that need to be fed so that we can become more effective "salt and light." Help us each to be submissive to our Lord and willing to let Him use us.
