As
your deacon, I take great pleasure and joy in caring for the people of The
Chapel. Leadership isn’t
something to be taken lightly. I
pray regularly for wisdom and direction. Everyone
on the deacon board is trying to do the best job he can, so please pray for
your deacon and let him know how he can be of use to you.
It is a two way street. I
hope you realize you have a dedicated person praying for you.
The more he knows, the better he can fill that role.
Don’t
ever think you are a bother of your concerns aren’t big enough to be
mentioned to your deacon. In the
case of The Chapel body, there is no concern too small or too great that your
deacon wouldn’t care to hear about.
It
is my prayer that with the coming of a new building, we can also renew
ourselves to helping one another to be all God wants us to be.
