When
I think of the winter months that are
still upon us, my thoughts are drawn
to how unique God's creation is. I'm
reminded of how God has created each
animal with the instinct that even
through the winter months they have the insight to
store up food and also to prepare for their winter warmth.
How God truly takes care of His own.
This
brings to mind what God relates to man in Matthew
6:19-21, Christ said, "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth and rust
destroy and where thieves break in
and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in
heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your
treasure is, there your heart
will be also."
Our
life on earth is so short, compared to eternity with our
Heavenly Father. James
4:14 tells us, "You are a mist that
appears for a little while and then vanishes."
As
Christians, our goal is to hear our Lord and Savior say, "Well
done, good and faithful servant."
In
Christ,
