From the February, 1999 edition of The Doulos monthly newsletter by Tom Robb New Years: Be It Resolved! No one can regard January 1 with indifference. From it we must all date time. What we are going to do with the time that comes after January 1 is an all-important question. Someone once said, "Some minds have no mountain chains running through them. They are all FLAT." If we do not, from time to time, form some definite resolutions, our lives will be devoid of purpose, therefore fruitless. The Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:2, "For I resolve to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified." Let us PRACTICE THE PRESENCE OF CHRIST. Let us be resolved to better know Christ in 1999 than we knew him in 1998.
