As another year comes to a screeching halt, I find myself reflecting on changes
and inconsistencies that a year tends to demonstrate. Government is always in the process of change - in personnel as well as attitude and agenda. Families are changing through marriage, divorce, illness, births and deaths. Jobs change, vacations come and go, Days, weeks and months are here and gone - some happily remembered, others painfully forgotten.
As I get rather melancholy each year end, I find, amidst all the changes of 1994, that God is still completely consistent. He still mercifully forgets our confessed sin. He is still a Father who wants and provides the best for His kids. He still loves to fellowship with us and still offers the gift of salvation to every single person alive. He is in complete control of the universe and most importantly and most comforting - He still loves us. Maybe a good resolution for 1995 would be to give a consistent shower of praise, honor and glory and our time to God who is consistency personified.

Christ,
