PraiseTown is a worship arts ministry of The Chapel for children Grades Kindergarten - 5th grade. Our mission is to glorify Jesus Christ and to spread His Good News through music, visual art, dance, drama and other creative, worshipful expression. PraiseTown meets on Wednesday nights, from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. in Adult Room 3.

PraiseTown…It’s the Word on the Street

PraiseTown provides developmentally appropriate music, drama, and worship activities for children grades K-5. PT-180 (PraiseTown-180) is a worship ministry for grades 6 through high school. Students worship through music, singing, drama, dance, and other forms of creative expression. Praise and performance opportunities exist throughout the year in kids’ church, youth services, and in the main services and along with the adult choir

PraiseTown provides an upbeat environment which encourages children to use their creativity in worship. Coordinator “Mrs. Donna” Noble has led music for over twenty years, for children of all ages, including children with special needs. Grades K -2 and 3-5 are led by Mrs. Donna, along with a wonderfully fun-loving team of volunteers. PT-180 is led by Miss Tiffany Gerig, who has a wealth of experience as a play director, singer, and worship artist. Kids love her fabulous sense of humor and respond well to her passion for using the arts to reflect the beauty of the Original Artist.

PraiseTown is an arm of the Chapel’s Worship Ministry department and works cooperatively with CrossTown Children’s Ministries and The Chapel’s 180 Student ministries so that children in the PraiseTown program experience an integrated Sunday morning and midweek worship experience.
 

Not Your Typical Kids’ Choir…An ADVENTURE in TRUE WORSHIP!

Past PraiseTown activities/presentations have included:

• Praise Warrior Boot Camp (a weekend of “getting in shape” for skillful worship)

• “Splendor” (a worship celebration)

• Celeste Clydesdale’s “Mystery of the Manger”

• Donna Noble’s “The Best Gift” (a intergenerational Christmas Drama and Worship Celebration)

• Taking God’s Word to the Street at local nursing homes on Community Impact Day and at "Pump it Up for a Fun" Day!

• Singing in Kids’ Church and in the main service

• Missions Projects - sending instruments to the Dominican Republic and making blankets for Children’s Hospitals

• A year-end picnic with huge bowls of ice cream!
