New Devotional Distribution Ministry:

Do you regularly receive devotional material in the mail (Today in the Word, Our Daily Bread, etc.) that sits unopened or is thrown away after you read it? Please bring new or gently read devotional materials to the Women’s Ministry display in the lobby and leave them in the box provided. We are partnering with the Stark County Pregnancy Support Center’s outreach to women in prison, so that these materials can get into the hands of women who are open and hungry to hear the Word of God.

Thursday Mornings: 9:00 - 11:30 a.m.
What is the Sign of His Coming and of the End of the Age?

Revelation Part 3

Begins Thursday, September 4, 2008 (no childcare available)

Just before Jesus died, He wept over Jerusalem because her people did not recognize the time of His visitation. Jesus Christ is coming again very soon. You need to recognize the time of His visitation and know what the Word of God says -- for yourself. In this study, we will explore the relationship between the book of Revelation and the Gospels, observing the prophecies and teachings they contain about the last days. It is recommended that you first complete Revelation Part 2, however, it is not necessary. Cost is $19.25/person and due the first day of class. A Precept Upon Precept Study.

Facilitated by Peggy Harrison (330) 767-3941

“A Woman of Worship: Psalms”
Begins Friday, September 12, 2008 (childcare available upon request)

Ladies, we’re doing something new this fall ... A Woman of Worship is one in a wonderful series of studies by Dee Brestin.  This study helps teach us how to worship out of your heart's need as the psalmist David did.  A music CD will help us memorize the Psalms we will be studying.  Let A Woman of Worship take us to new levels of intimacy with God. Cost is $15/person and due the first day of class.

“Prone To Wander"

A Survey From the Book of Joshua Through the Life of Solomon

Begins Friday, September 12, 2008 (childcare available upon request)

Ever wonder why God put up with Israel’s unfaithfulness? Is your own heart “prone to wander?”
If you are a new believer or just have never spent much time in the Old Testament, this study will provide a “big picture” understanding to frame further study. If you have been a Christian for years but have been puzzled by the Old Testament, this study will enrich, deepen, and energize your study of God’s Word. This is the second installment of an Old Testament survey and follows the study “God Begins the Pursuit of His People” (a study of the first five books of the Bible). There is no prerequisite for this study, although they do build on one another.
